TVORCHI win Vidbir 2023 with “Heart Of Steel”

We have the first confirmed entry for Eurovision 2023!

This evening, Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC selected their entry for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. From a longlist of 36 entries, 10 were selected to compete in Vidbir 2023. The night was a star-studded celebration of Ukrainan music, featuring appearances from several Eurovision and Junior Eurovision stars.

The winner was selected via the 50/50 combination of votes from both the televoters and the professional jury. The jury consisted of Taras Topolya, Jamala and Yulia Sanina, having been voted for by the Ukrainian public.

Masha Efrosinina was the main host, with Eurovision 2017 host Timur Miroshnychenko hosting the green room. The show was presented by Timur Miroshnychenko, Zlata Ognevich and Kateryna Pavlenko.

The running order was as follows:

  1. Moisei – I’m Not Alone
  2. OY Sound System – “Oy, tuzhu” (Oh, longing)
  3. DEMCHUK – Alive
  4. Jerry Heil – WHEN GOD SHUT THE DOOR
  5. FIINKA – “Dovbush”
  6. KRUTЬ –  “Kolyskova” (Lullaby)
  7. Tember Blanche – “Ya vdoma” (I’m home)
  8. Angelina – Stronger
  9. 2TONE – “Kvitka” (Flower)
  10. TVORCHI – Heart Of Steel
