Ireland’s 2022 Eurovision representative Brooke Scullion has released her newest single ‘Tongues’, which is her first single since her Eurovision song was released in January.

The bop is the perfect follow up to her Eurovision banger ‘That’s Rich’. It is slightly chiller then ‘That’s Rich’, but still the kind of bop you have to dance around to.

The song is written by Brooke herself, as well as LAWRENT and Christopher Markey, which is a new team from the one that wrote ‘That’s Rich’.

‘Tongues’ is a very personal song about a love language and the moment when people talk to God in their own language and in their own love language to each other.

The song was first hinted at in the days after Eurovision 2022 but was not the only new music the Derry native revealed in the aftermath of this year’s contest. She also has a new EP coming out, so Brooke fans should keep an eye out for that in the coming months.

Some people were lucky enough to hear the song before its release, with Scullion hosting a listening party for some very lucky fans over Zoom on Wednesday.

Brooke at Eurovision 2022

As previously mentioned, Brooke was the Irish representative at Eurovision 2022, after she won the Irish National Final ‘Eurosong’ with her up tempo banger ‘That’s Rich’.

Despite much fan support heading into her semi final, unfortunately she did not progress past the semi final and ultimately finished in 15th place.
