Valentina from France with the song ‘J’imagine’ has won Junior Eurovision 2020! After a great show from host broadcaster TVP in Poland we have a winner for the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
This year has been a very different one with the coronavirus restrictions restricting the ability for Poland to host a full show with an audience. Only 12 countries competed this year, furthermore all the countries had recorded their songs remotely in their own countries prior to the show. However through the use of technologies such as remote video and augmented reality, host broadcaster TVP were still able to produce a complete Eurovision show.
Earlier the team here at ESCXTRA had ranked France as our favourite. France was also your favourite in our XTRA VOTE 2020. Your votes for the warm up round of Eurovision Prediction 2021 gave Spain the top spot.
