🇸🇪 Klara Hammarström: “I want to sing a song that everyone can relate to”

Klara will be making her second appearance in Melodifestivalen

As Melodifestivalen 2021 continues on, we managed to speak to some of the contestants participating in this year’s competition. This time, we had the chance to speak to Klara Hammarström who is making her second appearance in the competition with the song ‘Beat of Broken Hearts’

Klara’s Melodifestivalen 2020 experience

We started off talking about 2020 in general, then we continued on to talking about her participation in Melodifestivalen 2020. Klara made her debut in the competition with the song ‘Nobody’ which placed 5th in her semi-final.

Speaking about her participation, she mentioned how much she enjoyed competing and that it gave her a lot of experience, and that it prepared her for her return in this year’s competition.

Competing once again in this year’s Melodifestivalen

Speaking about returning this year, she mentioned that she initially did not think about coming back, as she’s already done it, and that she had a positive experience despite the result. However, with the positive reception from her fans, she then thought about returning to the competition.

We then went on to talk about her entry ‘Beat of Broken Hearts’, and I asked her how ‘Beat of Broken Hearts’ compare to all of the songs she has released so far. Klara mentioned that her 2021 entry is similar to her single ‘You Should Know Me Better’

Klara will be performing 3rd on the 3rd semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2021 for a place in the final. The show is due to take place on the 20th February 2021.
