🇸🇪 The Mamas release new single ‘Touch The Sky’

The Mamas's second release after Melodifestivalen

Melodifestivalen 2020 winners The Mamas keep going up, as they release their new single ‘Touch The Sky’. The trio’s latest release is their second single after winning the Swedish national selection.

The Mamas’s latest single was co-written by its member Ash Haynes, along with Jonas Thander and was produced by Sweden’s Eurovision 2013 representative Robin Stjernberg.

About ‘Touch The Sky’

Upon the release of their latest track, The Mamas revealed more about the track, and its message.

”Touch The Sky” is about always believing in yourself and reaching for all of your dreams and aspirations! We all have a purpose in life and once you tap into the power you have within; you’ll realize that you can do absolutely anything you’ve set your mind and heart on!

It’s about seeing yourself as your own hero because in the grand scheme of things, you’re in control of your feelings and actions, through the good and the bad! 

The Mamas on what ‘Touch The Sky’ is about

Debut EP to be released on September 25!

In addition to the release of their latest single, Universal Music Sweden has also confirmed that their debut EP ‘Tomorrow is waiting’ will be released next Friday on September 25.

The trio’s debut EP will include Touch The Sky, Let It Be, the title track ‘Tomorrow is waiting’. In addition each of the members will also have their own solo original track. The tracklist is as follows:

The Mamas at the Eurovision Song Contest

In 2019, The Mamas came to prominence, as being part of John Lundvik’s entry for Sweden ‘Too Late For Love’. Their participation saw Sweden place fifth overall in the 2019 competition.

A year later, The Mamas were announced as one of the participants, at Melodifestivalen 2020 with their song ‘Move’ which was written by Melanie Wehbe, Patrik Jean, and Herman Gardarfve. The trio managed to win the ticket to Eurovision 2020.

Prior to the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was revealed that The Mamas were set to open the 2020 contest.
