🇳🇱 T-Square’s ‘Count On Me’ cleared of plagiarism claims

Eurovision is always about original songs to perform, however, some music can sound quite familiar. The Dutch boyband T-Square faced such issues as well.

So as Junior Eurovision gets closer, there is more attention around it. A tense moment happened to T-Square boyband, one of the Dutch Junior Songfestival 2020 participants. Once they have released their entry, some people doubted the music was original enough to enter the contest.

Several social media users claimed the song is a plagiarism case of “Boy With Luv” by BTS. Such allegations made AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, to start an investigation to find out whether such claims can be true.

However, the band can relax about the situation. AVROTROS found nothing similar and cleared them of plagiarism claims. So there’s no reason to disqualify the boys or change anything.
