🇦🇹 Vincent Bueno reveals creative team for Eurovision 2021

After being confirmed as Austria’s Eurovision 2021 representative, Vincent Bueno has been working on finding the song that will follow his Eurovision 2020 entry ‘Alive’.

With Vincent’s Eurovision 2021 entry, due to be released in March, he took the time to reveal the creative team that he will be working with for his Eurovision entry, as well as the performance in May.

Meet the people working on Vincent’s performance

Vincent reveals that Pele Loriano, is the co-producer of his yet-to-be revealed Eurovision 2021, as well as providing backing vocals. Pele’s credentials include co-writing Lithuania’s Eurovision 2019 entry ‘Run with the Lions’. In his Instagram post, Vincent mentioned that Pele was the one who ‘pushed me to my limits’ and said that it was an honour to have worked him him.

In addition to Pele, Vincent also revealed that the main producer of his entry is Jonas Thander. His credentials include co-writing Michael Rice’s Eurovision entry ‘Bigger Than Us’, as well as co-writing Eliana Blanco’s Junior Eurovision entry ‘We Are More’, which was Malta’s entry for the 2019 contest.

The lyrics and the melody of his entry was written by Ashely Hicklin (Bright Sparks). His credits include co-writing Tom Dice’s Eurovision 2010 entry ‘Me and My Guitar’ (which placed 6th), as well as co-writing Blas Cantó’s 2020 Eurovision entry ‘Universo’. His recent work also includes working on one of the 2019 Eurovision winner; Duncan Laurence’s latest single ‘Last Night’.

In his Instagram post, Vincent also revealed that the staging for his Eurovision 2021 performance will be created by Marvin Dietmann. In addition to working on Vincent’s performance, he will also be working on Elena Tsagkrinou’s staging for Cyprus. Marvin’s recent work includes Conchita Wurst’s performance in 2014, as well as Cesár Sampson’s performance in 2018.

Vincent started his Eurovision entry in 2017, where he was a backing singer for Nathan Trent and his entry ‘Running on Air’ which placed 16th overall. In 2019, ORF announced that Vincent will represent Austria in the 2020 contest in Rotterdam. Despite its cancellation, it’s been announced he will represent Austria in the 2021 contest.
