Last week we had a chance to talk to KIIM, the Semifinal 4 winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2021. He shared his music career journey, the idea behind his entry “My Lonely Voice” and emotions after the Semifinal 4 results.
KIIM became famous after taking part in Norwegian versions of shows like The Idol and The Voice. After he was offered to take part in MGP 2021, the team wrote 2 entries during the songwriting camp: “Walking In My Sleep” and “My Lonely Voice”. The current song was picked thanks to an impressive personal story behind it and KIIM is really happy he managed to deliver his feelings to the audience.
