🇦🇹 Vincent Bueno’s Eurovision outfit is designed by Michael Cinco

Vincent's working with a renowned Filipino Designer

As countries continue on their preparation for Eurovision 2021, slowly but surely more countries are revealing information about their performance in this year’s contest. This time, Austria has revealed that Vincent Bueno’s outfit for Eurovision 2021 is designed by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco.

Michael’s creations have been worn by numerous celebrities, such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Aishwarya Rai, Nick Jonas, James McAvoy, Jason Derulo, Steve Aoki, Carrie Underwood, Sofia Vergara, Mila Kunis, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ellie Goulding, Allison Janney, Paloma Faith, Nicole Scherzinger, Fergie Ferguson, Dita Von Teese, Brandy, Ashanti, Chris Brown, Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell.

In addition to these celebrities, Michael’s creations was also seen in Miss Universe, where his creations were worn by previous Miss Universe contenders, as well as Miss Universe winners, such as Pia Wurtzbach who won Miss Universe for the Philippines in 2015 and wore his creation in Miss Universe 2016.

Speaking to PeopleAsia Michael mentioned that he wanted to help Vincent with the creation of his outfit for the contest, and even mentioning that he considers Vincent a “world-class Filipino talent deserving of support”.

“I just want to help him with his costume, even though he is already an Austrian representing a European country and not the Philippines, I still consider him a world-class Filipino talent deserving of support. His good showing in Eurovision would eventually benefit not only Austria but also the Philippines.”

In the same article, Vincent also expressed how humble Michael is, and that it’s an honor for him to work with him.

In addition, he also talked about his win Musical! Die Show in 2008, saying “I owe that victory especially to the Filipino community in Austria.” Now that he is participating at Eurovision 2021, he is hoping that the Filipino’s residing in Europe is able to support him at his participation this year.

Vincent Bueno at the Eurovision Song Contest

Vincent started his Eurovision entry in 2017, where he was a backing singer for Nathan Trent and his entry ‘Running on Air’ which placed 16th overall. In 2019, ORF announced that Vincent will represent Austria in the 2020 contest in Rotterdam. Despite its cancellation, it’s been announced he will represent Austria in the 2021 contest, where he will be singing “Amen” at the second semi-final of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
