With the first four names for PrePartyES 2021 announced last week, more acts have now been announced to be taking part in the Spanish online pre-party. 12 acts are now confirmed for the event which will take place on 24th April.
Many of the acts, including VICTORIA and Go_A, will be familiar with the pre-party after taking part in 2020. However, several of this year’s new acts including Albina and Jendrik have also been confirmed.
‘Douze points’ for douze acts
Eurovision-Spain.com have been keeping fans posted with new artist announcements on Twitter, recently announcing two batches of acts that will take part in the pre-party. The confirmed acts so far from Eurovision 2021 are:
Montaigne (Australia) VICTORIA (Bulgaria) Albina (Croatia) Barbara Pravi (France) Jendrik (Germany) Lesley Roy (Ireland) Samanta Tīna (Latvia) Destiny (Malta) Vasil (North Macedonia) Senhit (San Marino) Hurricane (Serbia) Go_A (Ukraine)
The organisers have confirmed that this year’s pre-party will “highlight the debuts of the participating countries” in Eurovision as “a faithful reflection of the history of Europe”.
Several in-person pre-parties have already been cancelled this year. Amsterdam’s Eurovision in Concert has been postponed until 2022, while the London Eurovision Party has also been cancelled for the second year in a row. The Spanish pre-party was the first to be confirmed for this year, albeit being hosted online.
