🇪🇸 Soleá will sing ‘Palante’ at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

As we are getting closer to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we are finding out more information, as to what songs the participants will be seeing. Today, Spain has confirmed that their representative Soleá will be singing the song ‘Palante’ for Spain at this year’s contest, which is due to be released on October 7.

Upon the reveal that Soleá will be singing ‘Palante’ for Spain at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, RTVE has released a 1 minute snippet of her entry. Described as urban pop, with a positive message, it looks like the entry will make you dance.

As previously reported, its been confirmed that Soleá’s track is composed by César G. Ross, ASHA and Bruno Valverde, who has hits with Pastora Soler and Becky G. In addition, the music video for Spain’s Junior Eurovision entry is also in the works. According to EurovisionSpain,

Despite only taking part of the contest five times, Spain actually had a pretty good track record in it. They nabbed the trophy in 2004 with María Isabel and “Antes muerta que sencilla”, NEARLY nabbed it by ending second in 2003 and 2005 AND finished fourth when they last participated in 2006.

In 2019, Spain confirmed their return to the contest, and was represented by Melani Garcia with the song ‘Marte’, where they ended up placing 3rd with 212 points.
