Irish entry coming soon!

Ireland’s representative Lesley Roy has revealed today that she will release her Eurovision 2021 entry “Maps” on February 26th.

At the start of 2020, RTÉ selected Lesley Roy to represent Ireland in the 2020 contest, with the song ‘Story of My Life’. Lesley co-wrote the song with Catt Gravitt, Robert Marvin & Tom Shapiro. Despite the cancellation of Eurovision this year, little has stopped her from entertaining Europe. From the Home Concerts to performing online at Dublin Pride, music still connects us in these difficult times.

It was a real shame we didn’t get to showcase Story of My Life on the Eurovision stage but had the show not been canceled this new song would never have emerged. I’ve been working on new material 24/7 and this song was clearly the strongest out of all of the demos. I believe that it is even bigger than Story of My Life, and will reach an even wider audience. I am just so excited to finally get my shot on the Eurovision stage after months and months of work.
