Ahead of the event tonight, Eurovision Spain has confirmed that 40 acts will be taking part in this year’s PrePartyES which will be streamed live on YouTube at 22:00 CEST. 31 acts from this year’s contest will also be joined by special guests and hosts for the second pre-party of the season.
The pre-party will also begin with a short film titled Mi vida, un festival (“My Life, A Festival”) looking at the experiences and memories of Eurovision fans. This will tie in with the theme of the event which will look back at each country’s Eurovision debut.
Warming up for Rotterdam
After weeks of revealing and teasing names, the forty acts taking part in the event have now been confirmed – including some very special guests. The line-up is as follows:
This year’s Spanish representative Blas Cantó will host the show from the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, alongside Suzy and Víctor Escudero. The event is set to run for around 3 hours.
Several in-person pre-parties have already been cancelled this year. Amsterdam’s Eurovision in Concert has been postponed until 2022, while the London Eurovision Party has also been cancelled for the second year in a row. The Spanish pre-party was the first to be confirmed for this year, albeit being hosted online.
You’ll be able to stream the concert here, when it begins this evening:
