🇱🇻 Samanta Tina to release Eurovision 2021 entry on March 12 as part of five-part docuseries

'I'm not looking for a standard Eurovision classic! I want to stay with that surprise, that crazy.'

It was announced back in November that Samanta Tina had already chosen her Eurovision 2021 entry. After much teasing and speculation, it is now being reported that Samanta’s entry will be revealed as part of a series of special programming from the broadcaster.

Overall, Samanta and her team wrote 11 potential ESC songs during the songwriting camp this summer. After teasing the entry over social media, it was rumoured that it might be released in January. Now, LSM.TV reports that the song will be revealed March 12th, as part of a series of programming.

The series is titled Kā uzvarēt Eirovīzijā? Samantas Tīnas ceļš uz Roterdamu (How to win at Eurovision? Samantas Tīna’s Road to Rotterdam). Starting February 12th, the series will follow Samanta’s process of creating the song, which will supposedly be released in conjunction with the final episode on March 12.

She has also reassured fans that the as-yet-untitled song will not be a standard Eurovision song:

I’m not looking for a standard Eurovision classic! I want to stay with that surprise, that crazy.
