Rehearsal review

Rehearsing right now for the second time inside the Rotterdam Ahoy is TIX performing “Fallen Angel” for Norway. We will continue to update this article as each run through takes place, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:

And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:

Even during the first rehearsal, Norway was one of the most polished performances due to its similarity with what we saw in Melodi Grand Prix. There’s still an obvious blue theme to this performance, with lots of flashing lights and images of lightning strikes on the LED strikes to symbolise TIX falling from the sky like a “Fallen Angel”. The blue theme changes to gold for the final chorus which finalises the journey from the inclement weather to clear skies, transmitting the message of the song.

TIX’s vocals are even stronger than we saw in the first rehearsal, he is faultless in his delivery and this certainly stands a chance of qualification. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether the story behind the visuals will be understood by all the telemeters and the juries.
