ESCXTRA.com are live for day 8 of rehearsals ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 taking place at the Rotterdam Ahoy in The Netherlands!
It’s time for the second rehearsals of the automatic qualifiers! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom and Spain.

Rehearsal review
Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:
And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:
Barbara is up next and is styled just like in her first rehearsal. Since Thursday was so strong we are not expecting any big changes and France delivers exactly that. Some camera angles have slightly been changed, making the performance look even more cohesive. During the first run we have a slight wardrobe malfunction but that can be easily fixed and is not occuring again for run two and three. Vocally, Barbara is spot on and even throws in a few ad libs.
The “shaky” steadicam remains the same and captures her emotions perfect. This is a performance that was almost flawless in the first rehearsal and now after the second rehearsal is 100% ready for Saturday’s Grand Final.
