Israel at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Israel has a rather short history at Junior Eurovision. In fact, they only appeared at the contest twice, in 2012 in Amsterdam and 2016 in Malta. So far, their best result is the 8th place with 68 points achieved in 2012 by Kids.il while 2016’s entrants Shir& Tim placed 15th with 27 points. 1. well, it is too early to say who would win the JESC this year – we only know 3 singer (Russia, Georgia and Macedonia) and only the song from Russia is known – but if Kazakhstan choose Daneliya Tuleshova to represent the country with a good song they have a great chance to get into the top 5 (I would say). Belarus and Ukraine are strong too (what I\’ve seen on YouTube so far).
May the best act win. I hope for France, Ireland and Wales doing good.
