Robin Bengtsson started his career in Swedish Idol back in 2008, where he finished in third place. He debuted in Melodifestivalen in 2016 with “Constellation Prize”. He made it directly to the final and finished in 5th place. Robin returned one year after with “I Can’t Go On”, won Melodifestivalen, and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. He finished in 5th place in the Grand Final in Kyiv. The most recent time he competed in Melodifestivalen was in 2020 with “Take A Chance”. Robin qualified directly to the final and finished in 8th place.

About the song:

According to Aftonbladet, Robin’s 2022 Melodifestivalen song is a strong pop song, that suits him perfectly with a strong chance of making it to the final of the competition.

Just like Robin, LIAMOO kicked off his career on Swedish Idol, where he won the twelfth season back in 2016. He made his debut in Melodifestivalen in 2018 with “Last Breath”. LIAMOO qualified directly to the final, where he finished in 6th place. He returned one year later with “Hold You” together with Hanna Ferm. After qualifying directly to the final, they finished in 3rd place.

About the song:

According to Aftonbladet, LIAMOO worked with many established songwriters on songs for Melodifestivalen 2022. It is not clear which song made it to the competition. Just recently LIAMOO released his latest single “Dark“. Written by Dotter, Dino Medanhodzic, and Linnea Deb.

This year Sweden was represented by Tusse and his song “Voices” after scoring the max points in the televoting in Melodifestivalen 2021 and winning the jury vote! He reached the final and placed in 14th position with a total of 109 points!
