🇪🇪 Will Elina Nechayeva participate in Eesti Laul in 2021?

Estonia’s Eurovision 2018 representative Elina Nechayeva is one of the participants who has appeared in ‘Fire Saga’. In the preparation of the release of the movie, she even released a cover of ‘Volcano Man’.

After her appearance in the movie, she has been asked; if she’s willing to participate in next year’s Eesti Laul?. This is one of the questions Elina was asked when she appeared in “Letnyaya studiya”, where she talked a bit more about her appearance in the film.

Elina is currently working on a new album

In her interview, Elina mentioned that she is currently working on a new album. She did not completely excluded the idea, saying that if a song inspires her so much, she might submit it for competition.

“When I watched the film, I remembered the feeling of participating in the competition. It was so interesting! At some point I thought if I would not write a song this year.

“Now I am working on the album. Maybe maybe some song will inspire us so much that we will send it to Eesti Laul “.

ERR has confirmed that it will continue ahead with Eesti Laul in 2021. However, they are yet to confirm when submissions will open for interested artists to submit their entries.

In 2018, Estonia selected Elina Nechayeva to represent them in Lisbon with her song ‘La Forza’. During her participation in the contest, Elina managed to bring Estonia back to the Grand Final after two years of non-qualification.

Overall, Elina managed to place 8th overall in the Grand Final, where she managed to receive 245 points overall from the professional juries and viewers combined.
