We can only imagine what the tally of applicants might look like on 10 January. This is when the submission window closes.

The line-up so far

The strong interest in Vidbir 2022 has garnered participants from Ukraine and beyond. Some artists hail from Hungary, Germany and Armenia, just to name a few. In fact, the diversity and quality already looks promising. In fact, Suspilne has reported that the applicants may include familiar faces. This includes previous participants in The Voice Ukraine, X-Factor Ukraine, Junior Eurovision, as well as Tik-Tok stars.

With this, Suspilne has arguably increased the stakes at Ukraine’s National Selection. If Ukraine’s spotless record is anything to go by, we can again expect great things from them.
