Rehearsal review

Stage presentation

The performance starts with Michael looking in the mirror, after which we switch to him dancing with the backup dancers. It’s a very slick, put together performance. During the chorus, there are LEDs on the floor, which switch between white and red and show the words “I.M”.

There is lots of choreography involved, which looks really good as well. It’s all very professional, and elevates the performance. It is even synced with the floor leds. There is a cool shot during the pre-chorus where the leds on the floor turn white and show the dancers’ silhouette.

Costumes and styling

Nothing much that wasn’t expected, Michael is wearing a white outfit, as do his dancers.

Vocal quality

As we have seen during each performance by Israel, this is vocally flawless. The high notes are no problem for Michael, and despite the choreography, he is not out of breath.

Overall impression

This is an extremely professional performance that must have taken a lot of effort to perfect. The LEDs staging is really good, and the choreography is just as impressive. They did everything they could to elevate the song, and it works in their favour. We particularly like the LEDs on the floor, which are the best visuals we’ve seen asides from Ukraine. Overall, a very polished performance!
