ABBA – ‘Little Things’

First up on New Music Friday this week is quite a big thing, ABBA’s first ever Christmas single! Finding time after recently being Grammy nominated and releasing record breaking album Voyage, the Swedish 1974 Eurovision winners want a festive moment of reflection on ‘Little Things’.

Evangelia x Eleni Foureira – ‘Fotiá’

A firey duet is born on New Music Friday, as former Eurovision 2018 runner-up Eleni Foureira brings the ‘Fuego’ to the Greek remake of Evangelia’s smash-hit, Fotiá. As well as this, the pair have performed the song at Mad Walk 2021. Meanwhile the speculation over Evangelia’s possible Eurovision 2022 participation continues…

Destiny, Michela Pace, Gaia Cauchi, Maxine Pace – ‘Skin Deep’

Four of Malta’s most talented representatives of Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and MESC join forces this week. Destiny, Michela Pace and Gaia Cauchi take Maxine Pace’s empowerment anthem ‘Skin Deep’ to a new level in this re-release. Together they show a unity of sisterhood, supporting friends through the trials and tribulations of life and self doubt.

Sunstroke Project & Fox Banger – ‘Netflix & Chill’

Always enjoying the playful side of life with their brass bangers are Sunstroke Project. This week the Moldovan 2010 and 2017 representatives have teamed up with DJ, Fox Banger on ‘Netflix & Chill’. Exactly what you expect, this is not about the streaming service and is instead a cheeky take on the euphemism, by referencing all the Hollywood legends you haven’t been watching with your partner. Putting the chill into the song is of course Epic Sax Guy, bringing his famed saxophone beats to 70s style rhythms.
