ESCXTRA: Live from Rotterdam

🗳️ Here are the jury members who voted at Eurovision 2021

Malta's jury didn't really agree on anything, breakdown shows

Last night, when the full results of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 were revealed, we also got a glance at the jury members. All 195 jury members are now known. Check out who the jury members for your country were below!

Former Eurovision entrants among jury

It is fair to expect that there will always be a good amount of former Eurovision Song Contest entrants in the list of jury members. 2021 is no exception whatsoever on that front. Interesting is Denmark, where Tan (of Ben&Tan) featured on the jury after not being given the chance to return. Slovenia is almost the country with the most former entrants in their jury, as they had Nuša Derenda (2001), Raay (2015) as well as Maja Keuc under her alias of Amaya (2011). The Slovenian jury decided to award Italy their douze points.

Trumping the three former entrants from Slovenia is Estonia. Four out of five jury members have graced the Eurovision stage before. They are also responsible for the only former winner to feature on a jury, as Dave Benton voted for them. The 2001 winner picked France as his favourite. Birgit Sarrap, who sang Et Uus Saaks Alguse in 2013, picked Switzerland as her #1. Gjon’s Tears would eventually go on to pick up twelve points from Estonia. Elina Born and Stig Rästa were also on the jury, with Elina choosing Ukraine and Stig picking Finland as their top songs of the night.

Malta also had two former entrants on their jury. 2019 entrant Michela chose Greece and Stefania as her #1 of the night. Interestingly, Ira Losco, who had been commenting on the shows through Instagram in the past week, was also on the jury. Her favourite of the night was Portugal. All in all, the Maltese jury had a few different favourites. Their douze points went to Albania, even though Anxhela Peristeri was ranked 22nd by Ira Losco and 19th by Sigmund Mifsud. The other three jury members put it third. Ten points went to Switzerland, who were placed first by Annaliz Azzopardi, but dead last by Michela.
