Germany in Eurovision

Germany is the country that has participated in most editions of Eurovision, having only missed one in 1966 when their entry did not qualify. Today, Germany is one of the Big Five countries that are guaranteed a spot in the final. Germany has won two times: in 1982, when Nicole sang “Ein Bisschen Frieden”, and in 2010, when Lena sang “Satellite”. From 2005 to 2023, Germany’s best result has been 4th in 2018 with Michael Schulte’s “You Let Me Walk Alone”. You can see his performance here:

In 2023, Germany chose metal-band Lord of the Lost to represent them with the song “Blood and Glitter”, which finished 26th out of 26 in the final.
