The statement condemns all abuse and discrimination, including the online abuse seen this year, aimed at a number of people involved in Eurovision, including those working to produce this year’s show. Additionally, blocks and reports will be handed down by the relevant Eurovision accounts to anyone that crosses the line into abusive behaviour.

On values, the EBU reiterate that ‘The Eurovision Song Contest was created to build unity. Its values are of inclusivity, universality and celebrating diversity through music’. They then urge all followers and fans of the contest to show those values in their interactions online.
