Noize Generation: “I started to produce my own songs in the walk-in closet of my parents.” [Interview]

Time for another interview from Germany! We spoke to Noize Generation, the only participant that isn’t going to sing tonight… Can Noize Generation make it two Ukrainians in Vienna, even without Ukraine actually participating..?
escXtra.com: Hey Noize Generation! First of all, congrats on being in Unser Song für Österreich! Could you tell us something about yourself?
Noize Generation: My name is Jewgeni and I am a DJ, Remixer and Producer from Munich. I was born in Ukraine but I moved to Germany when I was 2 years old. Just out of school, I started to produce my own songs in the walk-in closet of my parents.
X: Where did the name Noize Generation come from?
NG: I think it sounds cool and it also kind of represents the music I make.
X: Why did you decide to enter Unser Song für Österreich?
NG: It’s a great chance for me to perform my new songs in front of such a big audience.
X: What can you tell us about the songs you’re going to perform in the show?
NG: The first track will be “A Song for You” which also going to be my first Single, which came out on Feb 20th. The second one is called “Crazy Now”- more details coming soon.
X: Will you sing your songs yourself or will you invite a guest vocalist? If it’s a guest vocalist, can you tell us more about that singer?
NG: I ́ll invite Patrik Jean from Sweden. He ́s the vocalist on “A Song for You” and he will also perform “Crazy Now” with me – in case I ́ll pass the first round. 🙂
X: What’s going to be your special ingredient to win USfÖ?
NG: Bass!
X: What’s your favourite place in Germany?
NG: To be honest, I don ́t have a favourite place, but I really like my old hometown Coburg, where I grew up till I moved to Munich, which is also a really nice city of course.
X: Are you a Eurovision fan?
NG: I have to admit that I wasn ́t a big Eurovision fan in the past. But I ́ve watched it a couple of times and I like it!
X: Do you have an all time favourite Eurovision song?
NG: Not really…
X: Finally, do you have a message for the readers of escXtra.com?
NG: Enjoy watching the Eurovision and don’t miss my performance 🙂
escXtra.com would like to thank Noize Generation for his time and we’d like to wish him and Patrik Jean the best of luck in tonight’s Unser Song für Österreich! Watch his first entry, A Song For You, below!
