Knez says “Adio” to Montenegro to visit the London Eurovision Party

For Knez, the Montenegrin representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, it will be a brief “Adio” (Goodbye) to his homeland in order to promote his Željko Joksimović penned entry ahead of the competition in May. Selected by RTCG, the Montenegrin broadcaster, back in October, Knez’s career has spanned over two decades now and he will be looking to use his vast experience on the stage to bring Montenegro into a second consecutive appearance in the Eurovision final. General admission tickets are now sold out for the show, however VIP packages go on sale tomorrow, Friday 3 April, at 10:00 CET. London Eurovision welcomes the 2015 débutant, Guy from Australia, to the Party!

Maybe it will be “Tonight Again” and again and again for Guy Sebastian as his promotional journey ahead of becoming his country’s first ever Eurovision representative will also bring him to the capital of the United Kingdom for the London Eurovision Party, on April 26. From winning the first ever Australian Idol in 2003, Guy has had a successful career. The Malaysian-born Australian is the only male artist to have ever achieved six number one singles and two number one albums in Australian chart history. General admission tickets are now sold out for the show, however VIP packages go on sale tomorrow, Friday 3 April, at 10:00 CET. Swedish “Heroes” are coming to London

Yes, you read that correctly! The London Eurovision Party 2015 brings more than one artist to you! We will see this year’s Swedish representative Måns Zelmerlöw upon the Café de Paris stage and he will, of course, perform his entry “Heroes” but in addition to this year’s Melodifestivalen winner, we will also say välkommen to another former Melodifestivalen winner. The current Executive Supervisor of Melodifestivalen and the Show Producer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, Christer Björkman will be coming to London to sing his entry from 1992, “I morgon är en annan dag”, as part of the show.

Eduard from Moldova is the next confirmed act

If one confirmed act wasn’t enough today, here’s another artist taking to the London stage next month – its Eduard from Moldova! Eduard won the Moldovan national final on 28th February with his uptempo pop number “I Want Your Love”, sweeping the board by over 3,000 votes. Eduard is the 7th confirmed artist from this year’s contest that will perform at next month’s London Eurovision Party, which will also see guest appearances from Kurt Calleja, Sarbel, Kitty Brucknell and reigning Eurovision champion Conchita Wurst. The Makemakes are coming to London!

The host country of this year’s contest will be represented by rock music group The Makemakes with the song “I am Yours”. They are now confirmed as the next act to appear at next month’s London Eurovision Party. Founded back in 2002, the Austrian band won the right to represent Austria a mere few weeks ago when they won over both the public and juries with the song “I am Yours”. While The Makemakes won’t have to travel too far in May, they’ll be making the trip to London’s ‘Cafe de Paris‘ on Sunday 26th April to perform their Eurovision entry to a live audience. They’ll also be joined at the venue by another Austrian act – the one and only Conchita Wurst! Tickets for the event are selling out fast, with Greece’s Maria Elena Kyriakou also recently confirmed and more acts still to be announced – so make sure you secure your ticket if you haven’t done so already. The London Eurovision Party has another confirmed artist, Maria-Elena Kyriakou from Greece! Maria was chosen to represent Greece at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest earlier this month with the big ballad ‘One Last Breath’. Before jetting off to Vienna though, she’ll first be making a short trip to London next month to please fans at the Cafe de Paris, performing her entry to a live crowd. A new Eurovision version of One Last Breath was made available earlier this week and can be listened to below. Kitty Brucknell to make guest appearance!

The London Eurovision Party 2015 has another special guest, X Factor star Kitty Brucknell who very nearly made it to Vienna. Kitty rose to fame as a semi-finalist on the 2011 series of The X Factor UK , the platform responsible for kick starting the careers of today’s top selling artists such as Ella Henderson, One Direction & Leona Lewis. She made it through to the sixth live show and later toured with the contestants in The X Factor Live Tour. She released her debut album, Glamour & Damage in November last year and entered the song “Yearning” into the Swiss selection. Although the song was a firm favourite with fans, the song was not selected to progress further. Almost two months later, it was announced that Kitty had been shortlisted for the Moldovan national final with her song “Remix”, another to be taken from debut album “Glamour & Damage”. The song progressed further than ‘Yearning’, qualifying to the semi final stage of the competition. Kurt Calleja guests at London Eurovision

Kurt Calleja, the Maltese representative to Baku back in 2012 will be appearing as another special guest for the London Eurovision Party on 26 April at the Café de Paris. Kurt has participated three times in the Maltese selection processes to win their ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest, each time qualifying through to the final. At Eurovision itself, Kurt’s entry “This Is the Night” was 7th place in the second semifinal, going on to finish 21st in the final. He will perform “This Is the Night” as well as his new single “Lost In Paradise” in London.

Electro Velvet announced as headline act

Last weekend, Electro Velvet were announced as the UK representatives for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.  One week on, it has been announced that the duo will be headlining this year’s London Eurovision Party. Alex Larke and Bianca Nicholas make up Electro Velvet, who made headlines last week when the BBC officially announced them as this year’s UK act with the song “Still In Love With You”. The presentation of the UK entry included a first play of the official music video which some of you may have noticed, was filmed at the Cafe de Paris, the home of the London Eurovision Party.  So it was only right that they made an appearance at this year’s event! The duo will perform the song live in london on Sunday 26th April, just a mere three weeks before they head off to Vienna so if you’re a fan,  show your support by popping down!    Tickets are still on sale (and selling out fast so do hurry!) and can be purchased using the link below. Sarbel confirmed as special guest!

Sarbel confirmed as special guest!

The Greek representative of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, Sarbel is another surprise act confirmed to perform at this year’s London Eurovision Party. Sarbel represented Greece in Helsinki 8 years ago with the ethnic-pop number “Yassou Maria” which placed 7th on the scoreboard with 139 points. As well as becoming an ambassador for selected charities, last year he completed an extensive North American and Australian Tour and will soon travel to Japan to record material for an upcoming album.
