TVP opens up song submission window

Poland begin their British quest

The broadcaster responsible for the Polish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest – TVP has opened their submission window for Eurovision 2023.

National Final for 2023

Similarly to the method Poland used to choose their 2022 representative they will use a national selection show Krajowe Eliminacje. The rules and application form can be found here, the MP3 files must be sent to [email protected]. The deadline to send in the entries is 15th January 2023. After all the songs have been sent in, a pre selection panel will narrow the MP3 files down to 10 songs.

The songs and artists will be revealed on the 25th January 2023 with the national final taking place a month later on 26th February 2023.

These 10 songs will then compete in the televised national final. After the performances a jury and televote will narrow these down to three songs (50% each). Like last year, the vote tallies are then reset and the jury and televote will vote again. After which we will have a winner and will go to the Eurovision Song Contest for Poland which will take place in the United Kingdom.
