The host country of this year’s contest will be represented by rock music group The Makemakes with the song “I am Yours”. They are now confirmed as the next act to appear at next month’s London Eurovision Party.
Founded back in 2002, the Austrian band won the right to represent Austria a mere few weeks ago when they won over both the public and juries with the song “I am Yours”.
While The Makemakes won’t have to travel too far in May, they’ll be making the trip to London’s ‘Cafe de Paris‘ on Sunday 26th April to perform their Eurovision entry to a live audience. They’ll also be joined at the venue by another Austrian act – the one and only Conchita Wurst!
Tickets for the event are selling out fast, with Greece’s Maria Elena Kyriakou also recently confirmed and more acts still to be announced – so make sure you secure your ticket if you haven’t done so already. Follow the link below to purchase.
