🇸🇪 John Lundvik wins the 2020 edition of Sweden’s Let’s Dance

After his participation at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019, and touring extensively for the rest of 2019, John Lundvik continued to take part in competition; in a different light as he competed in Sweden’s Let’s Dance.

After a couple of months, John managed to win the competition with his partner Linn Hegdal after beating singer and actress Sussie Eriksson.

John improved his dancing skills throughout the competition

Throughout the season, we saw John Lundvik improved his dancing skills. Despite the slow start, John was able to improve on the score he receives from the judges each week. He ended the season by achieving a perfect score on both of his dances.

John Lundvik at the Eurovision Song Contest

During the fourth semi-final of Melodifestivalen, John Lundvik managed to pack the Swedish audience with Too Late For Love. He easily qualified for the final in Stockholm. It was no different on Saturday 9 March. John won both the international jury votes and the televoting. As a result, he was allowed to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Then, in May 2019, John were in the second semifinal. There, they finished in third place and therefore qualified for the final on Saturday, May 18, 2019. There he became second in the jury and ninth in the televoting, which earned him a nice top five position. With that we can crown Sweden as by far the best scoring country of the decade.
