🇪🇸 Spain records bottom three finishes across the board in Eurovision televoting

An average of 22.9 in the televoting for Spain, with Nordic Europe not digging it

Spain scored rather poorly in last night’s Eurovision televoting: Nil points. Following the United Kingdom, who were bottom two with half the countries, we now take a look at Blas Cantó’s result. He scored six points from the national juries, but nothing from the public. Were they ever close to a point?

Spain last in five countries

The United Kingdom already claimed twelve last places, so Spain were bound to do slightly better. Voy a quedarme ‘only’ finished last in five countries. Interestingly, the Nordic countries of Europe did not respond well to Spain at all. Denmark, Iceland and Finland ranked Spain last, with Sweden putting them second to last. Norway put them at #23, with only the United Kingdom and Moldova finishing lower.

Over all 38 voting countries, Spain recorded an average placing of 22.9 – only slightly better than the 23.3 that James Newman achieved for the United Kingdom.
