Måns and Petra to host Eurovision 2016?

Expressen, the popular Swedish tabloid, has revealed today that Måns Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede will host Eurovision 2016. No confirmation from SVT has been given yet – and the press conference will be held Monday morning live from Globen.
In the article, a source reveals that SVT is very happy that Måns and Petra have finally signed the contract. The duo has been nominated as favourite by the broadcaster to host the show since the beginning of the 2016 production.
Måns Zelmerlöw previously denied that the discussion for hosting the show was on. In his statement, the singer declared that he was sure SVT was working on the basics of the show (like city, arena and production) and hadn’t come to a decision for the hosts of the show – but also declared he would have been delighted to be one of the hosts of the show.
Petra Mede has already made an impact in the Eurovision world, hosting the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, the 60th anniversary special show by BBC and the 2009 Melodifestivalen. In 2016 she will co-host the first semifinal of Melodifestivalen alongside Gina Dirawi.
