Marius Bear, who will present Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with “Boys Do Cry”, has performed his song live on RSI, the Italian-language broadcaster in Switzerland.

Marius Bear was selected to represent Switzerland with the help of two juries: a panel of 100 people made up of Swiss viewers and an international Eurovision Expert jury, and his entry “Boys Do Cry” premiered on March 8th. Last month Marius also revealed that Sacha Jean-Baptiste will be the creative director for his performance in Turin. On Tuesday, March 29th, he performed his song live on Italian language Swiss broadcaster RSI. He also released his album Boys Do Cry last week.

Marius Bear will compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on May 10th. In the running order decided by the producers of the contest, he was put to the perform as the fourth act of the night. Last year Gjon’s Tears gave Switzerland their best result in the contest since 1993 as “Tout l’univers” won the second semi-final and ultimately placed third in the Grand Final, winning the jury vote and scoring 432 points in total.
