The search for Finland’s next Eurovision representative has officially begun. The Finnish broadcaster YLE has renewed its national selection “Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu” for another year.

Last year’s winners Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät and their “Aina mun pitää” did not manage to get through the semi finals despite being one of the most talked about acts in Vienna, and breaking the record for the shortest song in Eurovision history.
