SVT have just announced the cities and dates for next years Melodifestivalen.

Next years show will kick off with its first heat on Saturday 6th February in Goteburg and will continue its run in Malmo, Norrköping, Gävle & Halmstad before arriving in Stockholm for the grand final on 12th March.

It will be the very first time that Halmstad plays host to a Melodifestivalen live show.

The full list of dates are as follows:

Deltävling 1: 6/2, Göteborg (Scandinvium)
Deltävling 2: 13/2, Malmö (Malmo Arena)
Deltävling 3: 20/2, Norrköping (Himmelstalundshallen)
Deltävling 4: 27/2, Gävle (Gavlerinken arena)
Andra chansen: 5/3, Halmstad (Halmstad Arena)
Final: 12/3, Stockholm (Friends Arena)
