Ira Losco’s return to the Eurovision stage is now confirmed after sweeping both the jury and televote in tonight’s Malta Eurovision Song Contest final.

Initially, the results showed a potential fight for 1st place with “Golden” performed by Brooke, but quite soon after became a cert that Ira Losco would fly the Maltese flag once again with her song “Invincible”.

Iva first represented the country 14 years ago, in the 2002 contest held in Tallinn with the song ‘7th Wonder’ where she finished runner up with 164 points.

Can we expect a similar (or an even better!) result from Ira the second time around?  Let us know in the comments!

Technical Assistant: I've been here since Day 1 (I actually had a full head of hair back then!), and whilst I enjoy reporting the news, I also aid in keeping things running tip top behind the scenes. Yep, I'm also a bit of a tech geek!
