Since it was announced a while back that Australia would be returning to Eurovision on a more long-term basis, things had gone a bit quiet regarding their plans for 2016. Now however we are finally a step closer to hearing who will represent the country in Stockholm, thanks to Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst.

Conchita will be performing at special one-off concert with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra next Thursday, 3rd March, and it will be at this concert where she will exclusively reveal the name of the artist who will go forward to represent Australia at Eurovision 2016.

Not only will the crowd at the iconic Sydney Opera House be the first to hear who their Eurovision star will be, but they will then be treated to a brand new performance from the 2016 representative.

Suddenly it’s all go for the former wildcard country, and the rumour mill is already speeding up again! Who would you like to see following in Guy Sebastian’s footsteps?
