Following their Vidbir 2025 victory, Ziferblat have now released the final version of their Eurovision Song Contest 2025 entry, ‘Bird of Prey’.
‘Bird of Prey’ revamp released
Those familiar with Ukraine’s Eurovision history will know that a year rarely passes without their entries getting a revamp and this year is no different. During a live stream on Instagram, Ziferblat, who won the latest edition of Vidbir, confirmed that, ‘Bird of Prey’ would be updated ready for the Basel stage this May.
Now the band have released the final version of their Eurovision 2025 entry. Famed Ukrainian sound producer Anton Chilibi worked on the revamp. Ziferblat have described it as a ‘cosmetic overhaul’ to create more unique moments within the song to engage the audience with.
“We deliberately sought out someone with experience in creating songs specifically for Eurovision. This ‘cosmetic overhaul’ allowed us to integrate elements that we hope will resonate with the Eurovision fan community. We added orchestral parts in the choruses, giving ‘Bird of Pray’ an epic feel, and introduced pauses at the beginning of the track to create intrigue without revealing the full essence of the composition in the first few seconds.”
