Most of the world is in lockdown, but we’re never locked out of new music! This week KEiiNO have finally released their collaboration with Electric Fields. New single ‘Would I Lie’ is a message to humanity from Mother Nature. A confluence of culture The collaboration we’ve been waiting for is ready for our virtual discos! KEiiNO and Electric Fields are separated by the continents, yet they unite in a love of culture through music. Last year KEiiNO announced their plans to reward Australia’s televote score for ‘Spirit In The Sky’ with a tour. Whilst Down Under the group began work on their debut album. The concept to bring Joik to all corners of the globe drew them to work with Australia Decides 2019 runners up Electric Fields. Michael & Zaachariah also known as Electric Fields, with their similar goal to showcase indigenous Australian language through music, relished the opportunity. So their twinned souls created ‘Would I Lie’. We love this song and loved working with KEiiNO. 🇳🇴 Glam and Carina Dahl sing “Shallow” in Norwegian

Wig Wam lead singer Glam (Åge Sten Nilsen) and three times Melodi Grand Prix-participant Carina Dahl just released their own version of monster hit “Shallow”. In Norwegian the title is “Så ekte nå” (So Real Now). In the first 24 hours following its realease online the song was played an astonishing 320 000 times! Even more intimate in Norwegian Helge Johansen came up with the idea of recording a Norwegian version of “Shallow”. He also wrote the Norwegian lyrics. Along with the two singers he is surprised by the instant success. He says that everybody has some sort of relationship with the original, and that it comes closer and becomes even more intimate when performed in Norwegian. Also, he is convinced no one could have done a better job at this than Carina and Åge Sten. Even people he doesn’t know has gotten in touch to let him know how wonderful they think the song is. Today the German broadcaster, NDR, revealed Ben Dolic ft. B-OK as the German representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. The song is already out on streaming platforms. Moreover, the official music video is also released now! Watch it below! We do love a good music video! The music video features a wild night at a club with lots of dancing, which fits perfect for the modern dance-song. The song “Violent Thing” is written by Borislav Milanov, Connor Martin, Dag Lundberg, Jimmy Thorén and Peter St. James. Last year Germany was represented by S!ster and their song “Sisters”. The offering includes his Melodifestivalen entry ‘Troubled Waters’ and his previous single ‘This Can’t Be Love’. Nine months after the Slovenian duo performed to 200 million people at the Grand Final of Eurovision 2019, they have released their debut album. Following the release of their EP Štiri, they released “Come to Me” as their release to be sung entirely in English. The release also marked their first as ‘zalagasper’. Now, they have released their debut, featuring many of their pre-releases. Speaking to ESCXTRA via our press centre live stream last year, Zala and Gašper told us that they were working on material in English. This was a response to the question of why the duo decided to keep their entry “Sebi” in Slovene. In addition, Gašper informed us that they were working on making their name more easy to pronounce for non-Slovene speakers. Fast forward nine months and they have released their debut album, half of which is in English. In recent days, the young Belgian singer has already warmed us up for a new song. She did that with teasers on instagram. The official release was scheduled for 14 February, but due to circumstances ‘Empire’ was released today. On 4 February, Tamta announced that it was the soundtrack for the Belgian movie “Losers Revolution.” Interested people can watch the movie on 11 March. New single ‘My Zone’ We are talking more specifically about the new single ‘My Zone’ which was released at the end of January. Walloon producer and writer Thomas Ancora approached Tamta and her manager with the proposal because he knows the duo well. Thomas showed interest in the new single from Tamta, so he gave it a listen. Minutes later, the producer thought it was a great option. And so the Walloon used the song as a soundtrack and for one of the scenes in the film. About the movie Story Simon, Mehdi and Fred have known each other since their school career. 🇳🇴 KEiiNO releases new single ‘Colours’

The story of KEiiNO is still a long way off. Since their successful participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, they spoil us with their music. On 31 January, their newest song ‘Colours’ came out. Unity in diversity With the song ‘Colors’, Tom, Fred and Alexandra want to send a specific message to the world: Unity in diversity. The song contains some special elements. For example, Tom sings parts in Northern Sami, a language on UNs list or highly endangered languages. On this recording, you can hear children joiking along with Fred. The children are familiar faces for Fred, because he knows them through his job as a teacher. Teaching kids how to joik and speak Sami was how Fred found his inner joiker. Now, they stand by his side on this new single.
