🇱🇻 Laura Rizzotto releases new single ‘Ross & Rach’

Laura Rizzotto has released new single ‘Ross & Rach’ alongside a ‘Friends’ themed music video. The Latvian-Brazilian singer represented Latvia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon with the song ‘Funny Girl’. Inspired by the 90s/00s American TV sitcom ‘Friends’, the fun music video was shot at Madison & Park Coffee Shop in Los Angeles and directed by Carolina Rizzotto. ‘Ross & Rach’ is Laura’s fourth single release following her Eurovision entry ‘Funny Girl’ after ‘Bonjour’, ‘Tightrope’ and ‘One More Night’. Get ready for some new music! Back in 2019, Sarah McTernan represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv with “22”. Now, she is teaming up with electronic production duo HalfTraxx on a brand new track “Loving You”, due for release on February 5th. Get ready for February 5th! This week we have a gift of Kings as Spain’s Eurovision 2020 and 2021 representative Blas Cantó teams up with Operación Triunfo 2020 winner Nia Correia on new single ‘Cúrame’. Cúrame As a busy Eurovision season gets underway and Blas Cantó prepares his Eurovision entry, he has found time for the first of many surprises he has to come. Today he brings us ‘Cúrame’ (Heal Me) with the latest Operación Triunfo winner, Nia Correia. Here the two interplay together in an intimate duet, delivering the heartfelt honesty of lost love. All wrapped in a gentle piano melody to let their vocals shine through. This contrast of emotions and drama is enhanced further in the music video. With her long time collaborator Ingars Viļums, the two have created the dramatic ballad ‘Tikai romāns’ (Only A Novel). Although a change in pace from the likes of ‘Still Breathing’ and ‘I Got The Power‘, those that are familiar with Samanta’s work will know she also loves getting to showcase her voice too. United Kingdom’s Eurovision 2020 representative James Newman has teamed up with Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren on the new single “Slow Lane”. To coincide with the release of their collaboration, the official music video for the single has been released, which you are able to watch below: About “Slow Lane” This is not the first time James collaborates with the Dutch DJ. Previously he has worked with Armin van Buuren on the songs “Therapy” and “High on Your Love”. “Slow Lane” is written by Armin van Buuren and James Newman together with Benno De Goeij, Taylor Ann Fowlis and Alan Walker. The song also appears on Armin van Buuren’s new EP “Euthymia”. James Newman is not the only Eurovision artist to have worked with Armin van Buuren on the EP. In November he released a single together with Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence. The song “Feel Something” also appeared on Duncan’s debut studio album “Small Town Boy”. Today she releases the club banger ‘Deja Vu’ from the upcoming album Apohrosis to be released in early 2021. Deja Vu Despite a busy festive schedule with The Voice Greece knockouts well under way, Helena Paparizou has found time to deliver an early Christmas surprise! Earlier this year Slovenia’s Eurovision 2020 representative Ana Soklič was reselected to represent the Balkan nation again. Now ahead of deciding her song for 2021, she brings us an early Christmas present. Another look at her 2020 entry, with the release of the music video for ‘Voda’. ‘Voda’ music video released Even though Eurovision 2020 was not able to take place this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Ana Soklič has remained faithful to what would have been her entry. Following the cancellation announcement she released a revamped version of her emotive power ballad in March. Which saw Ana team up with the Budapest Art Orchestra to give ‘Voda’ more depth. With an ocean of symphonic enhancements to the instrumentation working in harmony with Ana’s rich vocals.  Over the Spring in the absence of the usual pre-party season, many Eurovision artists of past and present took part in the Eurovision Home Concerts series. During the difficult time of lockdown isolation, these creative performances united us and showed the true artistry of our favourite Eurovision acts.
