Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl release new single as ‘zalagasper’

A month after the Slovenian duo performed to 200 million people at the Grand Final of Eurovision 2019, they have released a new single. Following the release of their EP Štiri, “Come to Me” is their release to be sung entirely in English. The release also marks their first as ‘zalagasper’. Speaking to ESCXTRA via our press centre live stream, Zala and Gašper told us that they were working on material in English. This was a response to the question of why the duo decided to keep their entry “Sebi” in Slovene. In addition, Gašper informed us that they were working on making their name more easy to pronounce for non-Slovene speakers. The fruits of both of these is “Come to Me”, the duo’s first single to be sung in English and under the name ‘zalagasper’. You can watch the visualiser for the song below: The song is also available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and other services. Who are Zala Kralj and Gašper Šantl? Alfred García released the music video for “Wonder” feat. Pavvla

Alfred García released the music video for “Wonder” feat. Pavvla

Alfred García, who represented Spain in the 2018 contest in Lisbon, just released the music video for “Wonder”. The song is on Alfred’s debut album “1016” and probably the most intimate on the LP. In the video, we see Alfred and Pavvla on Mars and the whole video is very artistic. “And I wonder if you wonder about me” Along with Pavvla, Alfred García travels to Mars to find himself on the red planet with a very pessimistic reflection of himself. The artist, even when crucified, is the center of attention of the paparazzi, a criticism of media overexposure. Alfred also meets a reflection of himself dressed in a tuxedo and burning his own vinyl. A sign to get reborn from the ashes? Alfred walks alone most of the time in the video until he finds Pavvla. In the end, Pavvla, who takes Alfred by the hand, puts him in a kind of car/spaceship with an unknown destination. What do you think of the song and the music video for “Wonder”? Let us know in the comments below and by reacting to the post. Watch the video for “Wonder” here: The song is from the album “1016”:
