Sweden’s Klara Hammarström wins OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025

Sweden won the fan‑run OGAE Second Chance Contest on Saturday, as Klara Hammarström’s “On and On and On” collected 348 points to finish ahead of Italy’s Giorgia and Finland’s Goldielocks in the 39th edition staged in Florence. Italy’s “La cura per me” took second with 258 points, while Finland’s “Made Of” was third with 239. Twenty‑five entries competed.

The victory is Sweden’s record‑extending 19th since the competition began in 1987, cementing the country’s dominance in the event. Sweden has now won four times in the past six years (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2025).

OGAE Italy hosted this year’s contest after Annalisa’s 2024 win with “Sinceramente.” Results were determined by votes from OGAE member clubs, with additional guest juries from countries that did not run national selections or did not take part in Eurovision this year.

Hammarström is a four‑time Melodifestivalen entrant; “On and On and On” placed fourth in Sweden’s national final earlier this year before being selected by OGAE Sweden to represent the club in the Second Chance field.
