San Marino’s Eurovision 2020 representative Senhit let the audience pick her entry to Rotterdam. Two songs were put in to a digital battle and “Freaky!” was the winner!
Listen to “Freaky!”
The song “Freaky!” is written by Gianluigi Fazio, Henrik Steen Hansen and Nanna Bottos.
Senhit represented San Marino for the first time in 2011 under the name Senit. Then she sang “Stand By” but failed to qualify to the final. The song finished 16th in the semifinal.
In Rotterdam, famous Italian choreographer and director Luca Tommassini will be the director of the performance. He previously worked with Senhit on the music videos for “Dark Room“ and “HEART ACHE”, which has over one million views on YouTube.
Senhit is the third artist representing San Marino more than once. Valentina Monetta previously represented the country four times and Serhat twice. Last year Serhat gave them their best result by finishing 19th in the final.
San Marino will compete in the second semifinal of the contest on May 14. We will hear Senhit’s song on the first half of the show.
