Swiss broadcaster SRG-SSR has confirmed established alt-pop singer Veronica Fusaro will represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria this May!

Once again, SRG-SSR have opted for an internal selection for Eurovision 2026. After a successful hosting in Basel, it is the turn of Veronica Fusaro to represent the nation in Vienna later this year.
Veronica was born and raised in Thun, Switzerland and is an accomplished live performer and singer-songwriter. Over the years, Veronica has performed more than 500 live concerts. Back in 2016, Veronica was named ‘Best Talent’ by Siwtzerland’s SRF 3 radio station. In 2019 she performed on the Park Stage at the famous Glastonbury festival to expand her range internationally.
Last year, the talented 28-year-old released her second album Looking For Connection. A lyrically honest album that reflects on the current landscape of human reliance on technology and how to still find authenticity in that space.
Veronica’s Eurovision entry will be announced on March 11.

Since introducing this format of internal selection, Switzerland has achieved six consecutive qualifications, including three top 5 results. Of course, this culminated with victory in Malmö for the captivating performance by Nemo and their winning entry, ‘The Code’. Earning Switzerland their third victory in total and first win since 1988.
