Eurovision is back! Delegations have landed/arrived in Vienna these last few days and rehearsals started last weekend. Just like last year, for the first rehearsal, the EBU releases information on the day of each reharsal, with a sets of three photographs publishe the day after. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, from the second half of the first semi-final (automatic qualifiers excluded). And the last act from yesterday, closing the semi-final, was Serbia’s “Kraj Mene”.
🇷🇸 Serbia – Lavina – First rehearsal
The following pictures have been published by the official Eurovision accounts.
What happened on stage?
This description is sourced from indications given by the official Eurovision Reddit account.
- Luka’s fur coat has been upgraded with a shoulder armour, with two swords on each side. The rest of the outfit is once again dark, with longer nails this time.
- The coat is dropped again, like in the PZE staging.
- The sword-like mic-stand is back, planted in a rock/stone that is allegedly exuding lava (possibly from the LED floor)
- As expected, there is plenty of smore and pyrotechnics during the performance. Pyro will start with the first screaming growls of singer Luka.
Here’s the small message Lavina had for the Eurovision fans after their rehearsal:
Stay tuned for further coverage tomorrow, with the rehearsals of today, and for our live coverage on the ground starting on May 9, which will include (among other things) the full dress rehearsals and the live shows, live from Vienna!
