Lithuania’s Eurovision 2015 representative Monika Linkyte has released her new song ‘Šilkas’, which translates to Silk. On Monika’s latest single, we see a much scaled-back tempo, which suits her voice, as well as for relaxation.
To coincide with the release of her latest single, Monika released a lyric video for the song, which sees her on water, signing along to the song.

Before finally getting the chance Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest, Monika participated at Lithuania’s Eurovision national final five times, and once at the Lithuania’s Junior Eurovision national final in 2007.
Monika’s successful attempt to represent Lithuania was in 2015 with Vaidas Baumila and their song ‘This Time’. Their participation in Vienna, saw Lithuania’s return to the Grand Final where the duo placed 18th overall.
