Iolanda will be representing Portugal at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Lisbon calling! After three weeks of competition in a year that celebrated the 60th anniversary of Festival da Canção, Portugal marked the end of the national final season by choosing Iolanda’s ‘Grito’ to represent them in Malmö.
Iolanda came first with the national jury and second in the televote. The public’s winner, João Borsch’s ‘…Pelas Costuras’ came 5th with the juries but finished in second place overall.

Portugal is set to perform in the second half of the first semi-final on the 7th of May.
