Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the fifth round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. For this round, your task was to predict the winner of Croatia’s Dora. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Croatian ticket to Rotterdam!
Since the announcement of the return of DORA for the 2021 season, HRT have announced a number of changes. These have included the hosts, the voting system and the lack of audience. In addition, snippets of the 14 entries were released a week ahead of the show, instead of 24 hours before.
Of course, we were still cruel enough to make our players make a prediction based on one-minute snippets, rather than the full songs, which we will hear for the first time tonight.
During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, 166 of you have predicted who you think will take victory in Croatia. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least:
Rank | Artist | Song | Number of predictions | Percentage |
1 | Nina Kraljić (Alkonost of Balkan) | Rijeka | 99 | 59.6% |
2 | Bernarda | Colors | 19 | 11.4% |
3 | Mia Negovetić | She’s Like A Dream | 16 | 9.6% |
4 | Albina | Tick-Tock | 14 | 8.4% |
5 | Cambi | Zaljubljen | 10 | 6.02% |
6 | Eric | Reci mi | 3 | 1.8% |
7 | Filip rudan | Blind | 3 | 1.8% |
8 | Toma | Ocean Of Love | 1 | 0.6% |
9 | Tony Cetinski & Kiki Rahimovski | Zapjevaj, sloboda je! | 1 | 0.6% |
This is a much more decisive lead than last year’s round, where just under 40% predicted that Lorena Bućan would win Dora 2020. Meanwhile, eventual winner Damir Kedzo received just over 12% of the vote.
Members of the ESCXTRA team will perhaps be disappointed by our voters’ choice, as Bernada’s Colors was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.
We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 6, a TRIPLE national final round, will open!
Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.
After a…slow start to the season, our players are on a roll! After correctly predicted Barbara Pravi’s victory in France, over 90% of them scored maximum points following The Roop’s win in Lithuania. How long can they maintain this winning streak?
