Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the fourth round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. For this round, your task was to predict the winner of Lithuania’s Pabandom Iš Naujo. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Lithuanian ticket to Rotterdam!
After two weeks of heats and then a semi-final, just six songs are left in the Lithuanian national final. Tonight, one of these will be selected as Lithuania’s act for Eurovision 2021.
Many people seemingly expect The Roop to win the selection, considering a) they won last year by a huge margin and b) ‘Discoteque’ is currently gaining impressive streaming numbers across Europe. However, as we noted in our recent interview with him, Gebrasy has so far won both the heats and the semi final, topping the jury vote in both shows.
In Lithuania, in the event of a tie, the jury vote determines the winner. LRT has confirmed that a larger-than-usual jury will vote on the finalists. It is expected that eight jury members will cast their vote, albeit remotely rather than in-studio.
During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, 183 of you have predicted who you think will take victory in Lithuania. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least:
Rank | Artist | Song | Number of predictions | Percentage |
1 | The Roop | Discoteque | 171 | 93.4% |
2 | Gebrasy | Where’d You Wanna Go | 10 | 5.5% |
3 | Voldemars Petersons | Never Fall For You Again | 1 | 0.5% |
4 | Evita Cololo | Be paslapčių | 1 | 0.5% |
This landslide for The Roop is more surprising than you may think, considering our voters didn’t even predict their win last year. Instead, over 50% of our players expected Monique to win, while around 1/3 voted for The Roop.
The ESCXTRA team will be pleased with our voters’ choice; Discoteque was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.

We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 5 for Croatia’s DORA will open this weekend!
Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.
After a…slow start to the season, our players correctly predicted Barbara Pravi’s victory in France last week. Could this be the start of a winning streak?
