Eurovision.tv have just confirmed that global super star Flo Rida will join Senhit on stage to represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The appearance of the rapper had not been confirmed yet.
Special dispensation for Flo Rida
To invite Flo Rida on stage during the Eurovision Song Contest sure wasn’t easy. The delegation had to seek special dispensation from the EBU regarding the rehearsals. In a request similar to the one Portugal made back in 2017, San Marino received permission to have stand-in rehearse Flo Rida’s part in Rotterdam. The EBU granted the request, on the condition that Flo Rida would be able to make it to Rotterdam ahead of the dress rehearsals. These are scheduled to take place tomorrow, so he is just in time.
The 41-year old rapper is one of the world’s best-selling artists in his genre. He has sold approximately 100 million records. His biggest hits include Club Can’t Handle Me, Whistle and Right Round. He has been nominated for multiple awards in his career, including the MTV Music Video Awards and the Grammy Awards.
Flo Rida of course had something to say to Eurovision.tv about the confirmation that he would be joining Senhit on stage. He said the following:
What’s up Netherlands, it’s your man Flo Rida! I’m so excited to see you guys at the Eurovision Song Contest. I’ll be hitting the stage with the superstar talented Senhit to perform our new record Adrenalina. It’s such a good feeling to be back in Europe after so long. I’m very grateful to be able to perform once again, and on the biggest stage in the world.

Senhit’s story
Ever since releasing Adrenalina, Senhit and her team have been teasing the Flo Rida announcement. During her second rehearsal, her shrine like headpiece even had pictures of him on there, accompanied by question marks. The Italian songstress spoke about her journey to get Flo Rida on stage. She said:
Actually when I invited him to join me on the Eurovision stage back in March, the decision was made there with joy. It was not easy to predict the traveling restrictions, but there we go… I’m very happy to have him with me to perform ADRENALINA, not only to Europe but to the whole world! We are ready!
