First half of Melodifestivalen 2023 artists announced

50% of the Melfest line-up is here

Today the Swedish broadcaster SVT announced the artists competing in the first and second heat for Melodifestivalen next year starting on February 4th in Gothenburg. Today we got the first 50% of artists competing together with song titles and songwriters. Those first 14 artists include some returnees for example Victor Crone, Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Wiktoria and The Mama’s Loulou!

The running order for each heat will be announced in the next weeks. Tomorrow (Wednesday 30.11.2022) we will get the remaining 14 artists from SVT to complete the line-up for 2023.

In 2022 Sweden was represented by Cornelia Jakobs and her song “Hold Me Closer” after winning Melodifestivalen 2022. She won the second semi-final in Turin and finished 4th during the grand final with a total of 438 points!
