Marcus & Martinus, the Norwegian twin-duo who recently represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest, have released their highly anticipated new album, “Unforgettable.”
Fans can now listen to the album, which Marcus & Martinus describe as a significant milestone in their career. “We’re so excited to release our first album in six years! It’s a great representation of where we are as artists right now and shows a more mature sound. We’ve been working really hard on it and we’re so proud of the result. We really hope all our fans will enjoy it,” they shared.
The duo secured a commendable 9th place with their song “Unforgettable” at the Eurovision Song Contest, representing Sweden in the Grand Final. Reflecting on their Eurovision journey, they said, “It was a crazy experience and the most fun we’ve ever had. It also gave us so many new fans and a huge support. So, the song will always have a special place in our hearts.”
Marcus & Martinus have been prominent figures in the Scandinavian pop scene since their breakout in 2012. At 22 years old, their career achievements include the hit track “Elektrisk,” which holds the record for the most streamed Norwegian song of all time on Spotify, with almost 112 million streams. They have shared the stage with global artists like Jason Derulo, performed at prestigious events such as the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, and won Masked Singer Sweden.
The release of “Unforgettable” coincides with the start of their European Tour – We Are Not The Same Tour Part 2. The tour includes performances in Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Italy. “We are so excited to finally go on tour!
